1) Gain the basic knowledge about gender, welfare and social policies.
2) Critically examine different approaches to gender and related subjects.
3) Discuss inequalities in terms of gender, globalization and changing welfare systems.
4) Compare and contrast gender related social policies from a global perspective.
5) Develop an awareness of special social policy needs for gender mainstreaming in the area.
