Course Contents

This course attempts to examine first of all, the concepts, definitions and theories of unemployment. In this respect it covers the Neoclassical, Keynesian and Marxist theories as well as the new approaches. Secondly, the employment policies and the debate on the unemployment problems in the world and especially in Turkey are discussed. The theoretical part of the course is given by the instructor. The group discussions focusing on the selected topics are used as well.
