Course Contents

The subject matter of economics and general frameworks, basic concepts and problems, development of economics, basic economic systems, factors of production, theory of consumer behaviour, theory of producer behaviour, price mechanism and market structures, theories of perfect and imperfect competition. The general framework of macroeconomics, macro subjects include national income, the consumption, investment, and saving functions, theory of income determination, employment and unemployment, money and banking, government expenditures, and taxation, international trade, developing countries and development problems.
