This course covers importance, issues and contents of HRM, historical development of HRM, managerial and organizational developments effecting development of HRM, HRM approaches, the place of HRM in organizational structure and internal structure of HRM, the characteristics of HRM managers, job analysis, HRM planning, orientation and organizational socialization, training and development, career planning and development, performance appraisal, compensation and reward management, occupational health and safety, industrial relations, recent developments HRM.
