Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Deal with literary and philosophical texts including literary theories studied in the courses Criticism of Literature I/II, from different perspectives.
2) Recognize the methods to analyze literary theories.
3) Analyze the literary texts through the theories of criticism.
4) Deal with the literary texts in a comparative and critical manner.
5) Analyze the contemporary trends in criticism.

In a semester, one can examine either only a theory e.g. formalism, structuralism or feminism, or more than one theory with their relations to each other e.g. structuralism and structuralism, formalism and New Criticisim
