Course Contents

Importance of Numerical Methods in Engineering, Computer Solution of Linear Algebra (matrix, Complex matrix, Inverse Matrix and Computer Programming). Numerical Solution of Nonlinear Equations (Step descent method, Bisection method, Newton Raphson Method, ...), Solving Systems of Linear Equations using Direct Methods (Inverse matrix, Gauss Elimination, Cramer ), Solving Systems of Linear Equations using Iterative Methods(Jakobi Method, Gauss-Seidel Method). Nonlinear Functions of Several Variables. Curve Fitting and Interpolation (Linear interpolation, Lagrange Interpolation Formula, Least Square Method), Numerical Differentiation and Integration. Numerical Solution of Ordinary Differential Equations(Euler Method, Runge Kutta Method, Adams Method)
