What is Mitigation? Concept of disaster awareness – Preparedness and measures before disasters, Earthquake Hazard Hunt, Family Disaster Plan, the measures and behaviours during and after disasters. Fire Protection and Information and Exercises on Fire Extinguisher, General Information on Earthquake Prediction Researches- The Methods, Exaples and Probability of Shot-, Medium- and Long-Term Prediction, Early Warning and Rapid Response Systems – The Method Used, Examples and Best Practises from all over the World, Other Disasters: Flood, Landslide, Avalanche, Heat Wave, Nucleer, Biologic and Chemical Hazards, Terrorism… Structural Awareness for Seismic Safety – Basic Concepts and Knowledge for Safe Buildings, Technical & Social Considerations and Educational Experiences in Turkey...
