1) Acquire the basic knowledge on biotechnology and its industrial applications
2) Determine the similarities and differences between the method and applications in animal and plant biotechnologies.
3) Specify the principles of the fermentation techniques and bioreactors
4) Differentiate the unit operations in bioprocesses such as sterilization, media preparation, cell disruption, product separation, enrichment, purification, etc.
5) Recognize commercially produced biotechnology products and utilized biotechnological methods
6) Explain basic definitions and methods on genetic engineering, genetically modified organisms, gen transfer methods
