Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) Discuss the impacts and outputs of public or private televison channels to cultural communication.
2) Evaluate the effects of cultural based televison programmes on the sociological, psychological and cultural structure.
3) Develop knowledge to produce cultural based programmes for interculturality.
4) Explain how television programme genres represent the conflicts with the overall and sub-cultures.
5) Develop model proposals for television programs for the ways of reinforcing culture.
6) Conduct content analysis of the cultural based television programmes.

Course Contents

The course is contended of investigation and analyses of cultural oriented television programmes including talks,interviews or traveller's shows or documentaries on art, literature,cinema,vernecular traditions and cusine,etc. Social and psychological impacts contributed are also defined and described.
