Major theories and methods used in the research on media and disaster, the role of the media in the modern disaster management, presentation of disaster issues in the news and media, local/national media and disaster, new media and disaster, disaster cinema, media organizations, disaster preparedness status of media organizations, the audience's attitudes and behaviors towards media on the disaster issues, and content analysis of disaster related media
