Course Contents

This course will examine how popular culture products, such as film, series, TV programs. computer games we play, the clothes we wear, the music we listen to, in short, that makes us, produce and maintain the society we live in and how we produce them while we are consuming them and how popular culture products affect the way we think, live and feel. It will also try to understand the role of fashion, TV, film, and music with the samples in the reproduction of culture and ideology.

7) Classic storytelling. Propp and Todorov's narration propositions.

9) Micro Analysis and basic elements: scene, visualization, cinematography, lighting, composition.
10) Watching the movie "Die Hard 3" and its analyze with Microanalysis.
11) Micro Analysis and its basic elements: theme, symbolism, sound, editing, SFX,
12) Watching the movie "Donnie Darko" and its analyze with Microanalysis.
13) Watching the movie "Spider Man" and its analyze with Microanalysis method in action movies.
14) Watching the movie "Matrix" and its analyze with Microanalysis method.
