1) Students shall gain knowledge on comprehending the contributions of visual arts on children's cognitive and emotional development
2) Students shall gain knowledge on differentiating the sub branches that constitute visual arts
3) Students shall gain knowledge on aims and objectives and contents of primary Visual Arts curriculum.
4) Students shall gain knowledge on comprehending appropriate teaching methods and techniques for teaching visual arts according to primary curriculum
5) Students shall gain knowledge on image graphic design, architectural design and traditional designs which are appropriate to the program

Course Contents
Recognition of functions of visual arts education, determining the degree of art development in students according to graphical developmental stages, perusing child art work, applying graphical, architectural and traditional designs that are suitable for programme, drawing pictures, differentiation in visual, auditory and tactual perception through drawing, development of learning and creativity with the help of art.
