1) Tell historical background of counseling both in the world and Türkiye.
2) Recognize the preventive and interventive importance of counseling.
3) Define counseling.
4) Explain the goals and principles of counseling.
5) List conventional counseling types and service areas.
6) Explain counseling models.
7) Expalin organizational and proffesional structure of counseling.
8) Define characteriscitics of an effective counselor.
9) List ethical principles and rules of counseling.
10) Explain how to built counseling relationship.
11) Identify similarities and differences of major counseling theoretical approaches.
12) Explain different counseling application areas (i.e. school counseling, mental health counseling, rehabilitation counseling, marriage family and couple counseling, career counseling)
13) Explain the place of crises, trauma, grief, and substance abuse counseling.
14) Explain the role of measurement and evaluation in counseling.
15) Explain techniques and assessment methods in counseling.
