Course Contents

In front wheel driving, the rear wheel driving and the four wheel driving vehicles which have one and multiple power supply, it is aimed to investigate powertrain systems. The resistance forces acting on the vehicle body and wheel. The internal combustion engine characteristics. The investigation of the friction engaged clutch, multi disc clutch and hydrodynamic clutches. The manual, automatic and semi-automatic gear boxes. The automatic controlled manual gear boxes. The structural analysis of cardan joint. The introduction of differential systems and locking mechanisms related to front wheel driving, the rear wheel driving and the all wheel driving systems.
