8) Describes trampoline gymnastics, aerobic gymnastics, step, step aerobic movements.

Course Contents

This course provides students with the knowledge on definition of Gymnastics; Formation Exercises; Development of Sense of Rhythm; Small Apparatus in Gymnastics; Choosing Apparatus According to Age; Rope Exercises; Educational Games with Rope; Individual and Pairs Exercises with Balls; Individual and Group Exercises with Rope; Using Gymnastics Beam.

Weekly Schedule

1) Gymnastics definition, history, the development of it in the world and in Turkey
2) Physical education starting and finishing
3) The importance of order and command-learning
4) Gymnastics basic postures (relaxed, ready and greeting)
5) Turn arround him / her self (right, left and back)
6) Turn arround him / her self (right, left and back)
7) March and march options (proper name, ceremonial steps)
8) Midterm examination/Assessment
9) Turnings and wheels
10) Running with the form of the general warm-up, flip, stretch, stretching,
11) Gymnastics exercises by equipment (cash, bank balance, parallel bars, uneven bars, horse, pommel horse, ladders, rope)
12) Gymnastics exercises by equipment (rope, ball, clubs, ribbon, health, ball, hoop, gymnastics clubs)
13) Floor motion (balance stands, front and back somersaults, circle, handstand, kartvil, boot the forward hand-transcendence, a bar and an asymmetrical output bar, bar, bar and asymmetric return of the abdomen
14) Gymnastics postures, sitting and paire movements
15) Flip open and stretched leg
16) Final examination
