Course Contents

The political, military, economic and social structure of Ottoman Emperor, the Westernization of the last period of Ottoman Empire, World Wars, cold war, crises, the relations with the rest of the world are among the topics of this course.

4) Structural elements as instruments of change in Turkey: Politics in the initial years of the Ottoman Empire, Politics in the growth years of the Ottoman Empire, Politics in the peak years of the Ottoman Empire, Politics of the Ottoman Empire in decline
5) Structural elements as instruments of change in Turkey: Politics in the Ittihat and Terakki Party Era, Politics in the Independence War Era, Politics in the first years of Republican Era.
