Suggested articles and presented seminars enable students to critically evaluate the historical narrative and knowledge of the modern architectural period and form the basis of the classroom discussion. The lecture will be developed in the context of the seminars presented by the invited participants and the articles proposed by the instructor, and discussion topics will be shared with the students in this context. The course compares and discusses three main points in general; Western understanding of modernity, non-Western modernities and Turkish modernism
