Course Contents

This course equips candidates with in-depth knowledge on definition of science, importance of science education, basic principles in doing science lessons, science education based on scientific method, science education based on research and analysis, new approaches in science education: Project based learning, multiple intelligence theory, brain based learning, constructivism, computer based education, problem based learning, critical thinking, creative thinking, reflective thinking, concept education, concept maps, misconceptions, science education based on cooperative learining, science education based on educational games, anologies, focusing on basic problems teachers and students face during science education, analysing new methods and approaches that mşght help overcoming difficulties that students have learning science and increase students success.
