Course Contents

The aims and importance of the lab in science education, the importance of scientific process skills in experiments, skills to Make Communication-Measurment-Estimation- Inference, Data Interpretation, Experimentation, Hypothesis Identification, Preparation of Report Worksheets, Experiment Types, Open-ended Experiments, Close-ended Experiments, experimenting with waste and inexpensive materials, the approaches to be used in the evaluation of student performances (knowledge, skill, attitude-value) in experiments.

4) The importance and purpose of the laboratory in science education: The history of laboratory teaching, the place of laboratory studies in the science education program.
5) Scientific method and scientific process skills: types of experiments, designing and developing experiments, scientific process skills and how they are acquired.
6) Examination of existing biology experiments within the scope of the Classroom Education program
7) Examination of existing chemistry experiments within the scope of the Classroom Education program
8) Mid-term exam
9) Examining existing physics experiments within the scope of the Classroom Education program
10) İnvestigating international articles on science experiments
