Course Contents

Candidates are provided with in-depth knowledge on the concepts of “Type” and “Typology, different meanings of concept of “type” in architecture in different periods, the relationship between architectural design process and type, theoretical overview to architectural typologies which is the value of culture in terms of cultural continuity, the techniques of typological analysis and classification, and a case study in a historic space which is selected.
