Learning Outcomes of the Course Unit

1) 1) Republican public in this process by telling the students with all aspects of architectural style developed in Turkey and the private sector all structures of historical significance having produced ensure the academic language reading
2) 2) To contribute to the discussion of students understanding of the historical background of the existing architectural environment in Turkey
3) 3) Understanding the building production environment in the country in all aspects by including the Republic Period Architecture not only of the expression of architecture and architects, but also by including all effective elements such as building material, engineering and capital in the lecture.
4) 4) To provide the student's academic orientation to the Republican Period Turkish Architecture and to have a career in this field or to display written-visual productions by keeping the framework of the course as wide and flexible as possible.

Course Contents

Republican Period Turkish Architecture will be explained with a chronological flow. All of these arrangements architectural production in Turkey with all its theoretical and practical aspects will be discussed in this course, the impact of this effect of social development will be discussed here. For the content of the course, students will be presented with the subject, various articles or book chapters are distributed and read and discussed in the class. Students make a topic, an power point presentation and a final presentation on the subject; they are expected to prepare and submit an article template.
