Lectures will be taught in an interactive manner in the form of narration and practice. Students are expected to attend the class actively, prepare the homework essays and follow the additional studies. In this scope, the essential titles that will be included by the course are as follows: historical development and theoretical foundations, social municipalities, municipalities, metropolitan municipalities and social policy practices of special provincial administrations, the concept of local government, The concept of social policy, social state, social citizenship, social assistance and social services, the role of local governments in social policy practice, concept of governance, obligations of municipality concerning social policy, local social services of municipalities, municipalities and local economic development.
