| Amaç | Dramatik Yazarlık, genel bir tiyatro bağlamından kuramsal destek alarak yürütülen ve uygulamada tiyatro oyunu yazarlığına odaklanan, ancak başta sinema olmak üzere, bütün dramatik sanatlarda kalem oynatabilme becerisini taşıyan bireyleri yetiştirmeyi hedefleyen bir programdır. "Yazma" işi, doğası gereği bağımsız çalışmaya uygun bir iş gibi görünse de, dramatik yazarlığı ressamlık, heykeltraşlık vb. diğer sanatsal disiplinlerden ayıran en önemli nitelik, tekil bir üretim sürecinde sonlanmayıp, ortaklaşa üretilen bir sanat yapıtı olan tiyatronun/sinemanın vb. bir parçası olmasıdır. Bu bakımdan hem üretilen işin kalitesi (uygulamanın içinde sürekli denetlenebilmesi, gerektiğinde değişiklik yapılabilmesi için) hem de metinlerin kağıt üzerinde kalmayıp tiyatral ya da sinemasal bir yapıta dönüşebilmesi için, yaratım aşamasında muhtemelen yalnız çalışmış bu bireylerin, ortaklaşa çalışma bilincinin yanısıra üretim sürecinde metinden daha sonra gelen aşamaların bilgisini edinmeleri de bir zorunluluktur. Bölümümüze bağlı Dramatik Yazarlık anasanat dalının programı bu gereklilikler göz önüne alınarak oluşturulmuştur. Bu programda öncelikle oyun yazarı, yanı sıra senarist ve metin yazarı yetiştirmek amaçlanmaktadır. Ayrıca bu programı bitirenler “metin” odaklı her türlü alanda çalışabilecekleri gibi, eğitim sürecindeki yönelişlerine göre, dramaturg, yayıncı, tiyatro pedagogu ya da yönetmen olarak çalışabilmek için de gerekli temel donanımlara sahip olurlar. | Amaç (İngilizce) | Dramatic Writing, is a program that aims to educate people who can have ablity to write in all kind of dramatic arts ,focuse on theatrical drama writing and take support from general theatrical of theoretical context but mainly in cinema. "Writing" work may even seem like a proper job becouse of its regardless nature , but the most important quality of dramatic writing that separates the other artistic disciplines like painting, sculpture and etc. is dramatic writing not ends in a single production process it is a part of jointly produced works of theater /cinema and etc. arts . In this regard, both the quality of produced work (in the continuous checking of the application, changes can be made if necessary) and texts for by not stay on a paper but also turn into a theatrical or cinematic work are a necessity for these individuals who have to know the process of informations of working awerness like a team as well as knowing production process which comes after the text. Dramatic Writing program was created in this department as taking into consideration to these requirements. | Genel Bilgi | Dramatik Yazarlık, (Oyunculuk ve Sahne Tasarımı programlarını da içeren) Sahne Sanatları Bölümüne bağlı bir programdır. Üç program da 2006’da eşzamanlı olarak faaliyete geçirilmiştir. Dramatik Yazarlık programının dörtte üçü tiyatro yazarlığı ve dörtte biri senaryo yazarlığı eğitimine ayrılmıştır. Dramatik Yazarlık eğitimi, yaklaşık yüzde yetmişi yazarlık alanına özgü olan ve yaklaşık yüzde otuzu, oyunculuk ve sahne tasarımı programlarıyla ortaklaşa yürütülen kuramsal ve uygulamalı dersler içerir. Sahne Sanatları Bölümü, tiyatronun bu alt disiplinlerinin hem birbirlerinden, hem de diğer sanat ve sosyal bilimler disiplinlerinden beslenebilmeleri için kolektif ve disiplinler arası çalışmaları teşvik etmektedir. | Genel Bilgi (İngilizce) | Dramatic Writing is a program related to the Performing Arts Department like as Acting and Stage Design programs. These programs were activated simultaneously in 2006. During three years there is education of writing for theatre and during one year there is education of writing for cinema and TV in this program. Recognition of Prior Learning
Lateral or vertical transfer student admission is carried out basing on the "The Transfer Regulations for Associate and Undergraduate Degrees, Double Majors, Sub-specialties and Credit Transfer Regulations among Institutions". The prior learning of transfer students is recognized as per the relevant regulations of Council of Higher Education and under the coordination of the Adaptation Committee.
Kocaeli University guarantees in advance that all credits gained and courses received by an Erasmus student after the mobility abroad will be fully recognized and transferred into Kocaeli University system and upon arrival with the approval of the authorities and the student. While preparing the" Erasmus Credit Transfer and Grade Equivalency Table" the ECTS grades are transmitted to Kocaeli University grading system.
Turkish higher education institutions are in the start-up phase about the recognition of non-formal and informal education. However; computer and foreign language skills that students improve on their own, are evaluated through exemption examinations by the university. Students who prove to be proficient in such exams are exempted from related course(s).

Examination Regulations, Assessment and Grading
